About Fizik

Fizik is the Italian performance brand of Selle Royal Group, based near Vicenza. It began with saddles, and its range now also includes helmets, bar tape and grips.

Fizik sorts its saddles by riding style first: Vento for racing, Tempo for long road days, Terra for gravel and trail, Transiro for the aero position. Each shape then comes on one of four platforms. 00 pairs a carbon rail with a full-carbon shell, R1 a carbon rail with a carbon-reinforced nylon shell, R3 a hollow Kium rail and R5 an S-Alloy rail. Most models come in more than one width.

Adaptive saddles replace foam with padding 3D-printed by Carbon using Digital Light Synthesis. Fizik tunes that padding zone by zone across the saddle and reports a 60% drop in peak pressure.
