The OSPW Aero ALPHA for SRAM RED D1/E1 + Force D1 V3 combines aerodynamic efficiency with low drivetrain friction to enhance overall riding performance. Featuring oversized 15-tooth and 19-tooth pulley wheels with low-friction hand-built bearings, the system reduces drivetrain resistance and optimizes power transfer.
Designed to complement modern road bikes and groupsets, the OSPW Aero ALPHA integrates aerodynamic shaping with proven drivetrain technology, making it an ideal upgrade for riders seeking every possible performance advantage.
The new V3 version introduces an optimized cage interface shared with the OSPW RS ALPHA platform. This updated interface makes installation faster, easier, and more consistent while maintaining the aerodynamic benefits, efficiency, and durability of the OSPW Aero ALPHA system.
SHIFTING TIME
Active Debris Remover (ADR)
ADR is a patented technical feature based on a unique combination of design elements that make it virtually impossible for debris to enter the bearing.
It consists of a specially designed dust cover that sits securely in a groove within the pulley wheel, completely enclosing the bearing. This is paired with a bladed groove structure surrounding the dust cover that dynamically removes debris from the pulley wheel as it rotates.
ADR was developed through extensive testing in both laboratory and real-world riding conditions to ensure reliable performance in demanding environments.
ALPHA Disc
The OSPW Aero ALPHA features the durable ALPHA Disc Pulley Wheel design.
The ALPHA Disc utilizes a two-piece construction consisting of a narrow-wide tooth profile manufactured from a composite material that provides increased wear resistance and reduced noise. This is combined with a solid aluminum disc structure that helps prevent external objects from becoming lodged between pulley wheel spokes while increasing strength and stiffness.
The solid disc design also contributes to the aerodynamic profile of the OSPW Aero ALPHA system, supporting efficient airflow while maintaining durability and consistent performance in all riding conditions.
