Engineered for Elevation
Combining a lightweight carbon rim, carbon spokes, and a dedicated front- and rear-spoke layout, the DURA-ACE C36 wheels reduce system weight without compromising stiffness. The result is a responsive wheelset that prioritizes acceleration and excels on dynamic climbs.
Features
- 36 mm Carbon Rim: Shallow full-carbon rim balances low weight, responsive acceleration, and aerodynamic efficiency for climbing-focused road riding
- Optimized Carbon Spokes: Carbon spokes reduce weight while providing the stiffness needed for efficient power transfer and responsive handling
- Dedicated Spoke Layout: 18 front and 21 rear spokes balance weight savings with the stiffness required for confident climbing and acceleration
- Aerodynamically Refined Rim Shape: Even with its shallow profile, the rim shape is optimized to maintain speed and efficiency across changing terrain
- Precision Cup-and-Cone Hubs: Refined cup-and-cone bearings deliver smooth rolling efficiency, long-term durability, and tunable performance
- Includes tubeless valves, packaged separately and ready for installation
Balanced for Speed
Despite its shallow 36 mm profile, the rim shape is refined to improve aerodynamic efficiency and maintain momentum as speeds increase. This balance of low weight and aerodynamic performance helps you carry speed across changing gradients.
Climbing Efficiency
The lightweight 36 mm carbon rim, optimized carbon spokes, and dedicated spoke layout reduce system weight while preserving stiffness. The result is efficient climbing performance and a responsive ride feel on sustained ascents and rolling terrain.
