SAINT PD-G8040 Pedal - EPDG8040

Flagship Flat Pedal for Ultimate Connection and Stability From laps at the bike park to all-day backcountry adventures, the new SAINT PD-G8040 flat pedals deliver secure grip, improved stability, and long-lasting durability. Featuring an extra-wide, dual-concave platform, a thin yet durable pedal body, and robust axle and bushing construction, these pedals are the optimal choice for anything from trail to gravity riding. When the trail fires back with every twist, drop, and high-speed line, SAINT pedals come alive. They're engineered to take the hits for flat out control and fun in every ride. ## Robust Design for Aggressive Riding Designed to meet the unrelenting demands of aggressive riders, the premium SAINT PD-G8040 flat pedals are built to withstand big hits thanks to their reinforced alloy pedal body, resin skid plate, and impact-resistant pins. Shimano also offers affordable replacement parts, assuring long-lasting peak performance. ## Superior Stability and Control Dual concave platform with uniform pedal thickness, including around the axle, enhances the shoe-pedal interface for maximum stability and control in technical terrain. A thinner pedal body helps clear obstacles — rocks, roots, and ruts — while 10 traction pins, plus four optional inner positions, assure superior grip. The result is a pedal that keeps your foot secure and engaged while also allowing you to reposition on the fly or stick a foot out when needed. ## Key Features - Gravity Ready: The SAINT PD-G8040 flat pedal is ideal for aggressive riding when performance and durability matter most - Exceptional Durability: Reinforced alloy pedal body, resin skid plate, and impact-resistant pins built to take big hits - Stability and Control: Wide dual concave platform measures 121mm x 110mm, assuring secure and stable grip for enhanced bike control in technical terrain - Consistent Thickness: Flat pedal platform with no protrusion from the axle assures uniform height for improved shoe-pedal interface - Traction Pins: With 10 traction pins, plus four optional inner positions, you're assured superior grip.
