About 3T

3T was founded in Turin, Italy, in 1961 and made its name with handlebars, stems and seatposts. In 2016 it introduced the Exploro and created a new category, aero gravel: the speed of a road bike with the tire clearance to leave the pavement.

Since 2018, 3T has made its carbon frames at its own factory in Presezzo, near Bergamo, winding dry carbon fiber with its filament winding and RTM processes. The ITALIA and ITALIA X bikes are built there, and every 3T frame is painted in Italy.

How is a 3T ordered?

Which 3T is right for the customer?

Racemax 2 Italia for fast gravel racing. Extrema Italia for tough gravel races and adventures. Ultra 2 Italia for bikepacking and rough terrain. Primo 2 for a mix of gravel, dirt and road. Strada Italia for aero road riding on wide tires.

What is the difference between ITALIA and ITALIA X?

Both frames are made in Italy. ITALIA X is 3T's top version, with its most refined frames, premium builds, wheels and components, and the naked carbon finish.

Which sizes are available?

The Strada Italia comes in five sizes, XS to XL. The Racemax 2, Extrema, Ultra 2 and Primo 2 come in four, S to XL. For help with sizing, call +1 (872) 946-7006 with the rider's height and current bike's stack and reach.

Can a 3T frameset be ordered on its own?

Yes. The Strada, Extrema and Racemax 2 framesets are offered in ITALIA ($5,154) and ITALIA X ($6,657), and the Ultra 2 frameset in ITALIA ($4,617).
