About Carbon-Ti

Carbon-Ti makes lightweight drivetrain, brake and wheel parts in Cazzago San Martino, near Brescia in northern Italy. The company grew out of LLS Titanium, a Brescia specialist in titanium alloys and carbon fiber, and its first product in 2005 was a chainring with a carbon fiber core and titanium teeth. Since 2024 it has been part of the Castellini group, and every part is still designed, machined and finished in Italy.

The X-CarboRing is still the core of the range: a structural carbon fiber body, 7075 aluminum teeth machined one by one, and titanium shift pins for clean shifts with mechanical or electronic groupsets. The X-Rotor SteelCarbon 3 puts a 1.8 mm steel braking track on a carbon body joined by Grade 5 titanium rivets, with rounded, machined edges that meet UCI rules. The X-Rotor Aero reshapes that carbon body in the wind tunnel for time trials and triathlon.

The X-Hub SP hubs use oversized 7075 bodies, sealed bearings with external preload and a titanium toothed ring with 56 points of engagement, and they are the hubs inside Carbon-Ti's X-Wheel carbon wheelsets. Carbon-Ti rings, rotors and axles are raced by professional teams at WorldTour level.

FAQ

Which Carbon-Ti chainring works with my crank?
Each ring is listed by bolt circle (BCD), number of arms and the cranks it is made for: 110 mm four-arm rings for Shimano and most power meter spiders, 110 mm five-arm rings, Dura-Ace 9200 and 9100 specific EVO rings, 107 mm X-AXS rings for SRAM AXS cranks, and direct mount and 104 mm rings for MTB. Send the crank model to support@dragonspinecycling.com and we confirm the ring before ordering.
Do the chainrings work with 11- and 12-speed groupsets?
Yes. The X-CarboRing 110 rings work with Shimano 11 and 12-speed and SRAM 11-speed chains, the X-AXS rings with SRAM AXS 12-speed, and the single rings with SRAM and Shimano 11 and 12-speed. Each product page lists its chains and groupsets.
Which brake pads work with the X-Rotor?
Any pads work, and Carbon-Ti recommends organic (resin) pads. The X-Rotor SteelCarbon 3 Center Lock comes with a low-profile lockring for hubs with 12, 15 or 20 mm thru axles.
Which axle and freehub do I need for an X-Hub or X-Wheel?
Choose the axle the frame and fork use (quick release, 12 or 15 mm thru axle, or Boost) and the freehub the cassette needs: Shimano HG, Shimano Micro Spline, SRAM XD or XDR, or Campagnolo. Send the bike's make, model and year with the cassette to support@dragonspinecycling.com and we confirm before ordering.
